They are an amazing bunch of staff. Her companion staff member, in particular, keeps us really well informed with care plan information and anecdotal stories about what Mums been up to. I feel confident that they meet her needs and are quick to react when these change. Mum is really happy there and has made friends with other residents. Victoria has the atmosphere of a home, not a care home. Mum moved from another care home that were failing to meet her basic needs and that had left us very disillusioned with the care system, generally. Victoria Care Home really restored our faith in the system. They did a fantastic job settling her in and she loves it there. Her care is very person-centred with staff who work with enthusiasm. It’s lovely to hear Mum giggling and laughing, chatting and dancing because if she’s happy, then I am too.
