My brother lived at the home from July 2010 to August 2019, when he passed away peacefully at the home. He passed away in his own bed, in his own room and with not only his birth family with him but also, the family he had been part of for the past 9 years. In that time, he received excellent care and was always with treated respect and dignity. Lovely food at mealtimes, the home is warm clean and safe for all the residents, it does have a very homely feel. As the sister of a resident, I never had to worry if I could not get to see my brother each week, as I knew if anything was wrong I would be contacted by the staff. This gave me great peace of mind which is what you want when you place a loved one in a home. On visiting, you are always made welcome with tea and cake. I have been on many happy day trips out to the seaside, picnic’s, theatre etc. Thank you all for being there when I needed you.
